Bottles uncovered during the construction of the play area were on display and for sale at the opening event. They were a fascinating reminder of Marsh's history as a rubbish dump, and raised a few pounds for Gores Marshalls' work.
Gores Marshalls (Supporters of Gores Marsh) is a non-profit making environmental body which aims to improve and develop the environment and facilities in and around Bristol's Gores Marsh.
We also aim to improve safety and accessibility and encourage more local residents to care for, improve and use the park responsibly.
